Karen L. Arnett

A native of the Midwest, Karen L. Arnett received her undergraduate degree from Luther College in Decorah, IA in 1969 and her law degree from Valparaiso University School of Law in Valparaiso, IN in 1972.

Based on her receipt of the top bar exam score on the February, 2002 exam, she was honored by the Florida Supreme Court to speak on behalf of the candidates at the Ceremony for Induction of Candidates for Admission to the Florida Bar on May 7, 2002. Ms. Arnett relocated to Florida in 1998, practiced with a local established law firm and in 2007 formed Arnett Law Office, P.L. Ms. Arnett is licensed to practice in all Florida courts, the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Indiana, the 7th Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States Supreme Court.

In addition to her law career, Ms. Arnett is a member of the Freeport Rotary Club, Faith Assembly Christian Church and its Choir.  She and her husband are active in the local real estate market; enjoy the local Destin and Walton County beaches; and, boat in their free time.  She also finds time to travel to neighboring states to show her Tennessee Walking Horses.
